How to Watch Amazon Prime Video on Android in 2020

If you are an Amazon Prime member, you can easily access all your Prime Video on your Android device.

Download Amazon Prime Video App for Android

Before you watch Prime Video on your Android, you must download and install the appropriate Amazon Prime Video app.
If you have already installed the Prime Video app, skip ahead to learning how to use the app to view Amazon Prime content on Android devices.
Instructions given in this article Android v. 9 or later apply.
On any Android phone or tablet, tap Play Store on the icon to open it.

The app will be downloaded and installed on your phone or tablet.

Find the Prime Video app on your phone or tablet and tap to open it.
If you are not already signed in with any other Amazon app, you may be asked to sign in with your Amazon account.
You can select videos to watch from the home screen to start watching immediately, or scroll down to the bottom included with Prime of the main banner to view the videos included in your main subscription. Or you can select me for free at the top right corner.

Watch Amazon Prime Video Offline

If you've got an airplane trip or don't have access to a data connection, you can download almost any video included with Prime for offline viewing.
The download option is available only to paying Principal members. It is not available to Amazon household members with shared principal benefits.
Find Insert with the video you want to download.
This must be a video included with your Amazon Prime membership.


Tap on the video icon.
Select selection download. 


Choose the download quality you would like. The higher the quality, the more storage space is required on your phone or tablet. Then choose Start Download.


When you're ready to watch, go to the Open Prime Video App and My Stuff > Download.


Select the or Play video icon on the screen 3 vertical dots select and select Play Download


Watch the Amazon Prime Video on your TV. Using the Android App


You have two main options to watch Prime Video directly on the TV:
